Sweeter than Sweet Tea

.heyy.jpg

So, I really love sweet tea. And the kind that I make is pretty sweet. 🙂

I am sitting here drinking sweet tea as I type this post to y’all.

Did you know that Jesus is sweet? Did you know that his word’s are sweet to our soul?

The bible says in Psalm 119:103 How sweet are your words to my taste, sweeter than honey to my mouth!

And honey is pretty sweet.

This is a great option because honey is a good lightening agent since it has a small amount of hydrogen peroxide. For this, you’ll need 2 cups of distilled vinegar and one cup of honey. You can also add 1 tablespoon of olive oil or coconut oil to nourish your hair, or 1 tablespoon of cinnamon to enhance the lightening effect. Just combine the ingredients and distribute on your hair. Wrap it up in a towel or use a shower cap, leave in for several hours, and then rinse out. The most convenient wa:

Notice the bible didn’t say sour like lemons. Because God’s word, the bible. Which are Jesus’ words, are sweet to our bodies.Like a spiritual food.

So for #1, we know that God’s word, Jesus’ words are sweet to our bodies.

#2 In Proverbs 16:24 Pleasant words are a honeycomb, Sweet to the soul and healing to the bones.

So, now we know that pleasant words, words that have the fruits of the spirit. Love, joy,peace,patience,kindness,goodness,faithfulness,gentleness,and self control. Are sweet to our soul, and healing, nourishment to our bones.

We must try to say uplifting,kind, and sweet words. Although it might be hard sometimes.

#3 Psalm 55:14 We who had sweet fellowship together Walked in the house of God in the throng.

We need a sweet fellowship. With God, with siblings, with husbands or wives, with anyone.

God wants us to have a sweet relationship with him. And others.

1 John 1:3 What we have seen and heard we proclaim to you also, so that you too may have fellowship with us; and indeed our fellowship is with the Father, and with His Son Jesus Christ

#4 And if you haven’t been saved, you need to trust in Jesus. Like the song says “Tis so sweet to trust in Jesus”

Say sweet words, read Jesus’ sweet words,  have a sweet fellowship with God and man, and if you haven’t been saved, trust in the sweet name of Jesus.These things have spiritual sweetness. And they are SO much sweeter than sweet tea.

2 Corinthians 2:15 For we are unto God a sweet savour (perfume) of Christ, in them that are saved, and in them that perish

There’s within my heart a melody
Jesus whispers sweet and low:
Fear not, I am with thee, peace, be still,
in all of life’s ebb and flow.

Jesus, Jesus, Jesus,
sweetest name I know,
fills my every longing,
keeps me singing as I go.

Tis so sweet to trust in Jesus,
and to take him at his word;
just to rest upon his promise,
and to know, “Thus saith the Lord.”

Jesus, Jesus, how I trust him!
How I’ve proved him o’er and o’er!
Jesus, Jesus, precious Jesus!
O for grace to trust him more!

1 Corinthians 13:11  Finally, brethren, rejoice, be made complete, be comforted, be like-minded, live in peace; and the God of love and peace will be with you.

My momma’s birthday- 5/14

So, today is my mom’s birthday. Her birthday is actually a week after mine!

Happy Birthday to the greatest mom in the world.

I love her so much. ❤

She is the one who taught me about Jesus. And if it wasn’t for her I probably wouldn’t be talking about Jesus on this blog right now, and for that matter I wouldn’t have this blog! For, I started this blog when momma started homeschooling us.

Happy Birthday momma. May the Lord bless you.

Proverbs 31:30 Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the LORD is to be praised.

Proverbs 31:10 An excellent wife who can find? She is far more precious than jewels.

Trust

Daniel 9:23 The king was overjoyed and gave orders to lift Daniel out of the den. And when Daniel was lifted from the den, no wound was found on him, because he had trusted in his God.

Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding;in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.

Psalm 118:8 It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man.

Proverbs 29:25 Fear of man will prove to be a snare, but whoever trusts in the Lord is kept safe.

Psalm 13:5  But I trust in your unfailing love; my heart rejoices in your salvation.
Psalm 20:7 Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the LORD our God.
 My hope is built on nothing less
Than Jesus’ blood and righteousness;
I dare not trust the sweetest frame,
But wholly lean on Jesus’ name.
On Christ, the solid Rock, I stand;
All other ground is sinking sand.

Happy Mother’s Day!

Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms out there. To get straight to the point, we wouldn’t be here without our mothers. They take care of us, cook, clean, teach, etc.

My mother took us out of school 3 years ago to homeschool us. For those of you who have never homeschooled someone: It is a lot of buying books, supplies, and lots of time. She takes time out of her day to teach us.

She also is a christ-like example to us, and teaches us daily about Jesus.

This mother’s day tell your mom that you love her, and are thankful for her. Maybe, get her some flowers, or write a nice card. Just do something to tell your mom “I love you”, and to show how much you are thankful for her. ❤  ❤ ❤

And again, Happy Mother’s Day! ~ cupcakegirl10 ❤ ❤

Proverbs 31: 10-40

10 A wife of noble character who can find? She is worth far more than rubies.11 Her husband has full confidence in her and lacks nothing of value. 12 She brings him good, not harm, all the days of her life. 13 She selects wool and flax and works with eager hands. 14 She is like the merchant ships, bringing her food from afar. 15 She gets up while it is still night; she provides food for her family and portions for her female servants. 16 She considers a field and buys it; out of her earnings she plants a vineyard. 17 She sets about her work vigorously; her arms are strong for her tasks. 18 She sees that her trading is profitable, and her lamp does not go out at night. 19 In her hand she holds the distaff and grasps the spindle with her fingers. 20 She opens her arms to the poor and extends her hands to the needy. 21 When it snows, she has no fear for her household; for all of them are clothed in scarlet. 22 She makes coverings for her bed; she is clothed in fine linen and purple. 23 Her husband is respected at the city gate, where he takes his seat among the elders of the land. 24 She makes linen garments and sells them, and supplies the merchants with sashes. 25 She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come. 26 She speaks with wisdom, and faithful instruction is on her tongue. 27 She watches over the affairs of her household and does not eat the bread of idleness. 28 Her children arise and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her: 29 “Many women do noble things, but you surpass them all.” 30 Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the LORD is to be praised.

My Birthday- 5/7

So, today I will turn 13 years old! A teenager.  I got saved about 8 years ago, and it’s amazing just to look back and remember all those years…………………………..

God has plans for my life and yours too! Trust him!

Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you declares the Lord. Plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

More about Jesus.

Jeremiah 9:23-24 Thus says the Lord: “Let not the wise man boast in his wisdom, let not the mighty man boast in his might, let not the rich man boast in his riches, but let him who boasts boast in this, that he understands and knows me, that I am the Lord who practices steadfast love, justice, and righteousness in the earth. For in these things I delight, declares the Lord.”

  1. More about Jesus would I know,
    More of His grace to others show;
    More of His saving fullness see,
    More of His love who died for me.

    • Refrain:
      More, more about Jesus,
      More, more about Jesus;
      More of His saving fullness see,
      More of His love who died for me.
  2. More about Jesus let me learn,
    More of His holy will discern;
    Spirit of God, my teacher be,
    Showing the things of Christ to me.
  3. More about Jesus, in His Word,
    Holding communion with my Lord;
    Hearing His voice in every line,
    Making each faithful saying mine.
  4. More about Jesus on His throne,
    Riches in glory all His own;
    More of His kingdom’s sure increase;
    More of His coming, Prince of Peace.
