Orlando Shooting

An American-born man who’d pledged allegiance to ISIS gunned down 49 people early Sunday at a gay nightclub in Orlando, the deadliest mass shooting in the United States and the nation’s worst terror attack since 9/11, authorities said.

Omar Mateen called 911 during the attack to pledge allegiance to ISIS and mentioned the Boston Marathon bombers, according to a U.S. official.

Orlando police shot and killed Mateen.

Mateen carried an assault rifle and a pistol into the packed Pulse club about 2 a.m. Sunday and started shooting, killing 49 people and wounding at least 53, officials said.

“We know enough to say this was an act of terror and act of hate,” President Obama said in an address to the nation from the White House

And this is sad. We know that hate only comes from one person, the devil. So, when Omar Mateen was killed, unless he got saved at the last minute of his life, he went to Hell.

We shouldn’t be cruel to gays, lesbians, etc. They are sinners just like us, only their sin is easier to see. We need to share Jesus with them, and pray for them.

It is sad to think that 50 people could have gone to Hell that day. 😦

We need to be sharing Jesus, and praying for people’s souls, because you never know when someone might shoot up a place again.

Pray for the people who experienced this attack, and start sharing Jesus with more people. Ask God for more witnessing opportunities.

Because you never know if one of the people you witnessed too, might die the next day.

Will they go to be with Jesus because you shared with them how to get saved?

Romans 10:9  That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

But how can people confess Jesus, if they haven’t heard of him?

And how can people hear of him, unless someone go tells them?

This is why it is so important to go tell others about Jesus Christ.

Mark 16:15  And He said to them, ‘Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.’

Back from the mountains.

Hey guys! Sorry for not posting in a long while. My family went on a little trip to visit family and then we stopped by the mountains.

The mountains were beautiful! God’s amazing creation was so gorgeous. Birds, trees, mountains, flowers, ducks, water. We saw many gorgeous things.

Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.

The lake was just the right temp to swim in.

Not to hot. (it never really is 🙂 )

Or too cold.

Just right. It was very good. Just like God said after finishing all he had made.

Genesis 1:31 God saw all that he had made, and it was very good. And there was evening, and there was morning–the sixth day.

While we were swimming we saw a little something in the water. And the ground, and in the creek behind our cabin. Seashells, and mussels.  In the mountains.

Now, don’t try to say someone dumped them on the mountain, or there used to be an ocean or something weird like that. Just face the facts. There WAS a global flood. Like the one mentioned in Genesis.

Genesis 7: 14-19 They and every beast after its kind, all cattle after their kind, every creeping thing that creeps on the earth after its kind, and every bird after its kind, every bird of every sort. 15 And they went into the ark to Noah, two by two, of all flesh in which is the breath of life. 16 So those that entered, male and female of all flesh, went in as God had commanded him; and the Lord shut him in.

17 Now the flood was on the earth forty days. The waters increased and lifted up the ark, and it rose high above the earth. 18 The waters prevailed and greatly increased on the earth, and the ark moved about on the surface of the waters. 19 And the waters prevailed exceedingly on the earth, and all the high hills under the whole heaven were covered.

People are still finding seashells in rock, and canyons today!

But either if God made the mountains before the flood, or if the flood made the mountains they are still so gorgeous that we know that there MUST be a creator. And he is God.

Even though God had to flood the whole Earth, for that is how wicked people were, he still made something beautiful come out of it. Valleys, mountains, etc. Every time God must judge someone or something, something beautiful always comes out of it.

Thank the Lord.
