Orlando Shooting

An American-born man who’d pledged allegiance to ISIS gunned down 49 people early Sunday at a gay nightclub in Orlando, the deadliest mass shooting in the United States and the nation’s worst terror attack since 9/11, authorities said.

Omar Mateen called 911 during the attack to pledge allegiance to ISIS and mentioned the Boston Marathon bombers, according to a U.S. official.

Orlando police shot and killed Mateen.

Mateen carried an assault rifle and a pistol into the packed Pulse club about 2 a.m. Sunday and started shooting, killing 49 people and wounding at least 53, officials said.

“We know enough to say this was an act of terror and act of hate,” President Obama said in an address to the nation from the White House

And this is sad. We know that hate only comes from one person, the devil. So, when Omar Mateen was killed, unless he got saved at the last minute of his life, he went to Hell.

We shouldn’t be cruel to gays, lesbians, etc. They are sinners just like us, only their sin is easier to see. We need to share Jesus with them, and pray for them.

It is sad to think that 50 people could have gone to Hell that day. 😦

We need to be sharing Jesus, and praying for people’s souls, because you never know when someone might shoot up a place again.

Pray for the people who experienced this attack, and start sharing Jesus with more people. Ask God for more witnessing opportunities.

Because you never know if one of the people you witnessed too, might die the next day.

Will they go to be with Jesus because you shared with them how to get saved?

Romans 10:9  That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

But how can people confess Jesus, if they haven’t heard of him?

And how can people hear of him, unless someone go tells them?

This is why it is so important to go tell others about Jesus Christ.

Mark 16:15  And He said to them, ‘Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.’

I heard about the shooting, it’s an awful thing. 😦
I think people should love whoever they want, right?
It’s not a bad thing to be gay or lesbian at all, even if the bible says it’s ‘wrong’ or ‘a sin.’ If a guy wants to love a guy or a girl wants to love a girl or a guy wants to love a girl or a girl wants to love a guy.
It’s your choice, not anybody elses. I respect you for following the bible. I respect all religious people, as long as they are good religious people.
I hope I haven’t made you angry with my comment. ❤ ML

No you haven’t made me angry, ML! You are just asking a question. The bible says in Mark 10:6-9
6 “But at the beginning of creation God ‘made them male and female.’ 7 ‘For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, 8 and the two will become one flesh.’So they are no longer two, but one flesh. 9 Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate.”

Luke 18:19 “Why do you call me good?” Jesus answered. “No one is good–except God alone.

Jesus is saying that no one except God is good. No one can be good enough, or a “good religious”, or a good person, to get into heaven. Only by believing in Jesus Christ can people get into heaven.
God gives us a free choice, to love him, or to love other things besides him.
2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.
He doesn’t want anyone to go to Hell but all to come to live in Heaven with him.
John 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believes in him should not perish. But, have everlasting life!

I have shared this good news with you before, and I will be praying for you, to one day ask Jesus Christ to be your Savior. He loves you. He loves everyone. Gay or not. We need to love each other the way Jesus loved when he was on earth if you read Matthew, Mark , Luke and John in the Bible- you will see how he lived and loved, He is my example. I pray for all the people hurt by what happened with the shooting, it is terrible. The bible says things will get worse as the world will hate each other more and more because love toward one another will be less and less. The bible says that God is love. He is love. He shows us his love. Praying for all regarding that shooting.
      Nice talking with you. cupcakegirl10<3
