December 7, 1941

“Yesterday, December 7, 1941 — a date which will live in infamy — the United States of America was suddenly and deliberately attacked by naval and air forces of the Empire of Japan.”~ President Franklin D. Roosevelt

74th anniversary of the Attack on Pearl Harbor.

Today we remember the 2,343 men who were killed, the 1,272 were wounded and the 960 left missing, on December 7, 1941.

December 7, 1941 is a day that started out fine for the men at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, most of them who were still asleep,  but it turned into one of the most horrible days in history.

Japan bombed the U.S naval base, in Pearl Harbor, the first plane attacking at 7:53 am. The second at 8:55. By 9:55 it was all over.

3 ships had been sunk. The USS Arizona, the USS Oklahoma, and the USS Utah. Many ships and planes were damaged, as well.

And, many died, were wounded, or were lost in all of this.

But, the men died while serving our country. They put others before themselves. Some men helped other men escape, knowing that they couldn’t make it out too. They definitely did what Philippians 2:3 says..Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves,

The USS Arizona memorial holds millions of visitors each year. All remembering the ones who perished.

The oldest survivor died at 100 years old. On February 4, 2015.

Though, this happened 74 years ago, we still need to take time to thank them.

Thank-you to all the men who served or died in the Pearl Harbor attack. May God Bless you greatly!!!

Philippians 2:3 Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves,

1 Peter 4:10 As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God’s varied grace:

Galations 5:13-14 For you were called to freedom, brothers. Only do not use your freedom as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another. For the whole law is fulfilled in one word: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”

Memorial Day.

Romans 13:7  Render therefore to all their dues: tribute to whom tribute is due; custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear; honor to whom honor.

May God Bless Our Troops.

Thanks to all who serve and have served in the Armed Forces.

Thankyou to all who gave their lives while fighting for America.

God Bless The U.S.A!!!!
