Verse of the day

Today’s verse of the day is…

Jeremiah 29:11-13 “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” 12 Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. 13 You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.

Romans 8:28

Romans 8:28 And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.

“The truth about God’s love is not that he allows bad things to happen, but that he will be there to pick you up when they do.” -Love Comes Softly

In that movie, Clark (husband) tells his wife that God will help her and protect her when bad things happen. Even if he was walking right beside his daughter, that doesn’t mean that she would never get hurt. She could still fall, but the things is that God will pick you up, dust you off and give you a loving smile when you do.

No matter what happens in your life, always remember, and believe that God will take care of you. He will be there to pick you up when you fall, and take care of you when you stumble.

My blog’s 2nd anniversary!

Today is my 2nd anniversary with wordpress.com! I started this blog on December 10th, 2013, and now it’s almost 2016!

All my posts were inspired by Jesus Christ. My blog has come along way since it first started.

I started out wanting to write about my dream cupcake bakery, henceforth, the name cupcakegirl10. But, then I felt the Holy Spirit leading me to change my blog. To something honoring to God. So, I changed it too, The work of thy fingers. I talked about God’s amazing creation. Then, I started writing things that were not just about God’s creation, though a very good topic, I started writing about Jesus in our everyday lives.

I prayed and asked God what I should name my new blog. He led me to the name Bible Talk. Let’s talk about the B.I.B.L.E and J.E.S.U.S!

2 Timothy 2:21 If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master’s use, [and] prepared unto every good work. God has made me a willing vessel, and he has used me, for his use, to tell others about him.

I want to keep God first in my life.  I hope you find encouragement in my blog posts. But, just know that what I write comes from the LORD and not me.

Psalm 46:5 God is within her, she will not fall; God will help her at break of day.

100 posts!

Today, I have officially posted 100 posts on this blog.

When I changed the name of my blog, I was always worried about followers. I always wanted to have lots of followers. I started to get weary that only a few people were following my blog. But, I prayed and the Lord helped me let go of that. Now, the Lord has blessed my blog, and he has given me 83 followers! I’m not boasting at all, I am thanking Jesus for the people he has allowed to come into my life, so that I can share Jesus with them.

God knew the plans he had for me. Jeremiah 29:11  For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord. Plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. He knew that I was going to start this blog, even before I knew it.  2 Timothy 2:21 If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master’s use, [and] prepared unto every good work. God has made me a willing vessel, and he has used me, for his use, to tell others about him!

Thank you to all who follow my blog, and I hope you find encouragement in my blog posts. But, just know that what I write comes from the LORD and not me.

2 topics 1:Why? 2: Don’t Morn.

Why do people get cancer? Why do we have to be sick? Why, why , why?

Job 1 ————–  Is the story about a man, a righteous man who feared the Lord. His name was Job. Job had everything taken away from him. His cattle , flocks , even his children. But he never cursed God. Think about it have you ever had a loved one get sick or die? Did you ask God why? Did you curse his name?  We never want bad things to happen to us, but we have to remember this scene and how God is in control. Its says in Romans 8:28  And we know all things work together for good to them who love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. So if someone is sick or has cancer etc. Just remember God works for the good of those who love him. So God has a purpose he can take bad things and turn them into something good. Like someone getting saved or drawing closer to God. It also says in James 1:17  Every good gift and every perfect gift comes from the father above. Why do we get sick? Why does God make us sick? He doesn’t. God does not make us sick. Sin does. When Adam and Eve disobeyed God sin came into the world. But, when sickness does come upon us God uses it for good. It says in Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans for you declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future.

Has a loved one ever died in your family?  You morn and cry right?   You should not cry about it forever.  Like if a child dies, like an infant for instance it is really hard on you. But, instead of crying you should rejoice! Because that infant or child is in heaven. The bible says that all the children below the age of knowledge will go to heaven. What is the age of knowledge you ask? The bible does not say. But the age of knowledge is when your child starts to understand that he is a sinner and he needs Jesus. If your child can’t understand that yet then he is under the age of knowledge. So,don’t morn when a child or infant or anyone dies rejoice because if you know they were saved then they are in heaven. Don’t wait to tell your child or an adult about Jesus because you will never know when the Lord will call them home.
