My future

Hey y’all forgive me in not posting in over a month. I’m been really busy with my local theater, school, vacation, etc.

Anyways, I’m back

So I’m officially a highschool student. And personally it’s kind of scary. Because you have to start thinking about your future, college, a job, a car, etc. My mind gets filled with questions. ¬†What if I don’t get enough schooling? What do I need to take to get into college? Will I go to college? What for? What job should I get? Will I get a car? What will I be? What will I become?

It’s like an emotional rollercoaster.

I’ve always been a planner. I plan what I’ll do today, tomorrow, in ten years, twenty, etc. So when I really can’t plan my future life it’s nerve racking. I don’t know what I’ll do and I don’t know what I’ll become.

But the amazing thing is I’m not in charge of my future. I’m not in charge of who I’ll become. I make decisions that can either help or hurt these things but in the end God controls my future. And it’s in way better hands that way.

We just need to trust Jesus with our future and our lives. He knows the plans he has for us. Plans that are good and will make us prosper. And they will give us hope and a future.

And the thing is, my future isn’t unknown to God. He knows it all. Even though I know nothing of it.

God is already there. He knows it and he has it in his hands. And I’m gonna let him take care of it.

And trust him to do what’s best for me. Because I know he will.

Sweeter than Sweet Tea

.heyy.jpg

So, I really love sweet tea. And the kind that I make is pretty sweet. ūüôā

I am sitting here drinking sweet tea as I type this post to y’all.

Did you know that Jesus is sweet? Did you know that his word’s are sweet to our soul?

The bible says in Psalm 119:103 How sweet are your words to my taste, sweeter than honey to my mouth!

And honey is pretty sweet.

This is a great option because honey is a good lightening agent since it has a small amount of hydrogen peroxide. For this, you’ll need 2 cups of distilled vinegar and one cup of honey. You can also add 1 tablespoon of olive oil or coconut oil to nourish your hair, or 1 tablespoon of cinnamon to enhance the lightening effect. Just combine the ingredients and distribute on your hair. Wrap it up in a towel or use a shower cap, leave in for several hours, and then rinse out. The most convenient wa:

Notice the bible didn’t say sour like lemons. Because God’s word, the bible. Which are Jesus’ words, are sweet to our bodies.Like a spiritual food.

So for #1, we know that God’s word, Jesus’ words are sweet to our bodies.

#2 In Proverbs 16:24 Pleasant words are a honeycomb, Sweet to the soul and healing to the bones.

So, now we know that pleasant words, words that have the fruits of the spirit. Love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self control. Are sweet to our soul, and healing, nourishment to our bones.

We must try to say uplifting, kind, and sweet words. Although it might be hard sometimes.

#3 Psalm 55:14 We who had sweet fellowship together Walked in the house of God in the throng.

We need a sweet fellowship. With God, with siblings, with husbands or wives, with anyone.

God wants us to have a sweet relationship with him. And others.

1 John 1:3 What we have seen and heard we proclaim to you also, so that you too may have fellowship with us; and indeed our fellowship is with the Father, and with His Son Jesus Christ

#4 And if you haven’t been saved, you need to trust in Jesus. Like the song says “Tis so sweet to trust in Jesus”

Say¬†sweet words,¬†read Jesus’ sweet words, ¬†have a sweet fellowship with God and man, and if you haven’t been saved, trust in the sweet name of Jesus. These things have spiritual sweetness. And they are SO much sweeter than sweet tea.¬†

2 Corinthians 2:15 For we are unto God a sweet savour (perfume) of Christ, in them that are saved, and in them that perish

There’s within my heart a melody
Jesus whispers sweet and low:
Fear not, I am with thee, peace, be still,
in all of life’s ebb and flow.

Jesus, Jesus, Jesus,
sweetest name I know,
fills my every longing,
keeps me singing as I go.

Tis so sweet to trust in Jesus,
and to take him at his word;
just to rest upon his promise,
and to know, “Thus saith the Lord.”

Jesus, Jesus, how I trust him!
How I’ve proved him o’er and o’er!
Jesus, Jesus, precious Jesus!
O for grace to trust him more!

1 Corinthians 13:11  Finally, brethren, rejoice, be made complete, be comforted, be like-minded, live in peace; and the God of love and peace will be with you.

Trust

Daniel 9:23 The king was overjoyed and gave orders to lift Daniel out of the den. And when Daniel was lifted from the den, no wound was found on him, because he had trusted in his God.

Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding;in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.

Psalm 118:8 It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man.

Proverbs 29:25 Fear of man will prove to be a snare, but whoever trusts in the Lord is kept safe.

Psalm 13:5  But I trust in your unfailing love; my heart rejoices in your salvation.
Psalm 20:7 Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the LORD our God.
My hope is built on nothing less
Than Jesus’ blood and righteousness;
I dare not trust the sweetest frame,
But wholly lean on Jesus’ name.
On Christ, the solid Rock, I stand;
All other ground is sinking sand.

Jeremiah 17:7-8

“But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord,
    whose confidence is in him.
8 They will be like a tree planted by the water
that sends out its roots by the stream.
It does not fear when heat comes;
    its leaves are always green.
It has no worries in a year of drought
¬†¬†¬†¬†and never fails to bear fruit.‚ÄĚ

Fear not tomorrow.

Hebrews 11:1 Now, faith is the substance of things hoped for; the evidence of things not seen.

Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord. Plans to prosper you and not to harm you plans to give you hope and a future.

What exactly does Jeremiah 29:11 mean?

Well it says.. For I know the plans I have for you declares the Lord. So, God knows the plans he has for you.

Plans to prosper you, and not to harm you. So, they are plans to prosper you, and not to hurt you.

Plans to give you hope, and a future. So, God’s plans give you hope, and a future.

The meaning of this verse is that God knows the plans he has for you. They are good plans, to prosper you, and not to hurt you. They are plans to give you hope and a future!

I like to plan ahead. I’m only in seventh grade but, I already have my wedding planned out! I like to plan what I’m going to do tomorrow. I worry if we don’t get something done, and I shouldn’t be like that. Because, this verse says that God knows the plans for you, and for me. I need to stop worrying about tomorrow, thank God for today, and know that God has tomorrow in his hands. He is already there. He is omnipresent. Which means, he God, is present everywhere at the same time. I can’t explain it, I’ll probably never will, but I will when I get to heaven. I just have to take it by faith. Can I prove it? No. I just have to take it by faith. Hebrews 11:1¬†Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.¬†2 Corinthians 5:7¬†For we live by faith, not by sight

We take God by faith. We can’t see him. But, we have faith in him. It’s the same as your future. You can’t see it but, you have faith that God is gonna work it all out. He has your future in his hands.

So, fear not tomorrow! God is already there!  Your future is in his hands!
